We are proud to announce that Banana Moon Bromley has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Nursery Training and Development category at the National NMT Nursery Awards 2025.

The National NMT Nursery Awards are the largest awards recognising excellence in the UK early years sector. The awards celebrate outstanding practice across individual nurseries, nursery groups, suppliers and more, shining a spotlight on those who go above and beyond to make a difference for children, families and staff.

At Banana Moon Bromley, professional development is part of our everyday culture. From the moment a new team member joins, they begin a tailored training journey designed to build confidence, knowledge and practical skills.

Our induction programme includes a full week out of ratio, covering key areas like safeguarding, paediatric first aid and our bespoke Early Learning and Development Programme. Ongoing learning includes regular supervisions, mentoring, peer feedback and reflective practice using real-time examples and live footage. Staff also take part in creative CPD sessions such as scenario-based safeguarding, and role play challenges.

We offer specialist training in areas including SEND, baby room development and deaf awareness, and adapt training methods to suit individual learning styles and needs. This approach creates confident, motivated practitioners who feel empowered to grow in their roles and deliver exceptional care.

The results can be seen every day. Parents often comment on the calm, confident way the nursery is run and the positive relationships they see between staff and children. Behind that success is a team that feels supported, valued and equipped to lead.
